Speechnotes Files respects your privacy. We erase all data as soon as it is no longer necessary for you. We do not keep your data for development or any other purpose. We do not sell your data. Here are how we transcribe your file and handle it:

  1. All our backend, server, database and storage runs on Google's & Microsoft's cloud infrastructure with the appropriate privacy rules and best practices to prevent leaks.
  2. Thus, only our server can access your uploaded audio and video files
  3. Only you and our server can access the transcript results. To get the transcript - you need to sign in using your Google account - so it is as safe as your Google account. You may use double authentication on your Google account to increase safety. This is recommended.
  4. Once the transcript is ready - your video or audio files are deleted from our servers
  5. We send your audio to Google's & Microsoft's speech recognition engines for the transcription. We use the more expensive 'no-logging, logging-prohibited' plan, that prohibits Google from saving this audio or its results even anonymously.
  6. When you decide to delete the transcript - through the dashboarrd - it is also deleted from our servers for ever. No record of it is left.
